Overview:
Hand wrapping device for Butylen-Tapes with 41mm core.
Composition:
Two aluminium frames with a driving wheel and winding device for interleaving, to which a steel sleeve equipped with three moveable, longitudinally-grooved roller are attached and onto which the tape roll is pushed and fixed into position.
Characteristics:
Allows cold-applied BUTYLEN-Tapes to be spirally wrapped around pipes and pipe bends. Can also be used on welded joints of factory polyethylene or other material coated steel pipes of diameter 80mm upwards.
Specifications:
- Tape core roll diameter must be 41mm.
- Clearance between pipe and wall or bottom of ditch above 250mm.
- All BUTYLEN-Tapes type “AS”, “S”, “N”, “R” and “PE” up to width 100mm can be applied using the DEKOMAT 1.
