Overview:
The Safe Area Transmitter Sensor is designed specifically to provide a cost-effective solution to gas detection in non-hazardous areas.
This transmitter sensor is suitable for toxic or combustion applications where gas could be a serious health risk to people in the vicinity of the process.
The transmitter converts the signal from the sensor to a calibrated 4-20mA output suitable for
connection to either the GMI comprehensive range of fixed control panels, or alternatively to one of
the following, Building Management System, PLC, DCS etc.
The transmitter housing is a sturdy painted mild steel enclosure including external mounting lugs for easy fitting. Also included in the transmitter are Zero and Span potentiometers to
allow for very simple and reliable calibration procedure.
